Class of 2020 Virtual Commencement Set for Sunday

Individual schools’ virtual ceremonies begin this Thursday.

2020 Virtual Commencement Celebration

The Virtual Commencement Celebration for the George Washington University Class of 2020 will be at 11 a.m. E.T. on Sunday, May 17.

The recorded ceremony, which will include remarks from GW leadership, student speaker and President of the GW Student Association SJ Matthews, as well as video and photo messages submitted by 2020 graduates, will be posted to  GW's Facebook page and commencement.gwu.edu at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Ceremonies for individual schools and other divisions will start at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Multicultural Student Services Center Graduation and go through 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the School of Medicine and Health Sciences M.D. celebration.
