Gabriela Rosenblau, an associate professor of cognitive neuroscience and director of the Cognitive Neuroscience Doctoral Program at the George Washington University Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, received a $23,000 grant from the Simons Foundation for the 2026-27 Shenoy Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience.
Rosenblau’s research uses computational modeling and other approaches to study the biological and psychological mechanisms underlying social functioning, with a focus on social learning during adolescence and the transition to adulthood.
The fellowship supports paid, in-person undergraduate research assistantships and provides students with hands-on research experience, mentorship and career development opportunities.
