Madison Brumbaugh, an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the George Washington University, received a Fulbright Specialist Program award from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
Through the award, Brumbaugh will complete a project at Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, providing instruction to local autism specialists. This is Brumbaugh’s first Fulbright award.
The Fulbright Specialist Program supports more than 400 U.S. scholars and professionals each year in sharing their expertise with institutions abroad. Recipients are selected for their academic achievement, leadership and potential to foster long-term international collaboration.
