British Robinson, MVC ’89, was named to Forbes 50 over 50 list for impact. Robinson is the CEO and president of the Barbara Bush Foundation For Family Literacy, a leading advocate for expanding access to literacy services nationwide. She has held those positions since 2018.
According to Forbes, Robinson and the Barbara Bush Foundation last year started the first-ever National Action Plan for Adult Literacy, an aim to improve the status of the 130 million low-literate adults in the United States and their families.
Prior to her work with the Barbara Bush Foundation, Robinson focused on preventing women's cardiovascular disease as the founding CEO of the Women's Heart Alliance. She also has held senior roles with Women For Women International and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
