Carly Jordan (Biological Sciences) received a five-year, $2 million National Science Foundation award for Improving Undergraduate STEM Education, a project to assess the impacts of Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences using digitized Natural History Collections data.
Jordan is a specialist in biology education, according to her bio, having earned her Ph.D. in cellular biology and a graduate certificate in university teaching from the University of Georgia. She teaches biology both for the Women’s Leadership Program and the University Honors Program, and she strives to create inclusive classroom environments and challenging courses.
