After 4-year-old Ava Lane was caught on camera crying that she'd never meet George Washington, the George Washington University responded to her viral video by giving her a chance to make her dream come true.

GW invited Ava and her family to come to Saturday's homecoming game at the Charles E. Smith Center. Ava traveled from Roanoke, Va., with her parents Gina and Jerry; her two little brothers Caleb and Byron; and her grandparents, Valerie and Gerald Zimmerman. The whole family got a tour of the Foggy Bottom Campus from junior Jon Hering, senior Kelsie Judd and sophomore Alyssa Zuback.

The family got to meet members of GW's basketball team, including junior Kevin Larsen.

Then, Little Ava was given a front-row seat with her name on it at the game and cheered as Big George made his way to her to say hello.
