Lauren Ingeno


Lauren writes about science, technology, medicine, health and research news at the university for George Washington Today. She is a proud Philadelphia native and a Penn State alumna.

Before joining the GW Today staff in fall 2013, she was a reporter and copy editor at Penn State’s student newspaper, the Daily Collegian. She has interned at Inside Higher Ed, the Philadelphia Inquirer and USA Today College. She likes exploring cities, writing fiction and finding new ways to eat Nutella.    

Lauren covers the School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Milken Institute School of Public Health, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the School of Nursing, sciences within the Columbian College, admissions and research.
