George Washington’s School of Media and Public Affairs will host former ABC News President David Westin as he reflects on his time leading a major news operation. Mr. Westin and Frank Sesno, director of SMPA, will discuss how TV networks are adapting to the changing media landscape and share their thoughts on the future of the news industry. After 14 years leading a major news operation, Mr. Westin has released Exit Interview, a new book describing what it was like to manage ABC News during major news events including  President Clinton's impeachment, the 2000 election, the 9/11 attacks, wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the economic crisis of 2008. This event is free and open to the public.
