In honor of Constitution Day, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia will deliver a lecture open to the university community.

The event, to be held at 1 p.m. in Lisner Auditorium, is hosted by the Constitutional Sources Project (ConSource) and sponsored by the GW Law School. Tickets are free but required.

“We are very pleased to welcome Justice Scalia back to GW. Giving our law students the chance to hear directly from a sitting Supreme Court Justice is an experience unlike anything they could ever imagine,” said Gregory E. Maggs, interim Law School dean. “We are thrilled to be working with ConSource to be able to offer this event in celebration of Constitution Day.”

The lecture will mark the second time this year the Supreme Court justice has spoken at Lisner. In February, he talked about his life and experience on the Supreme Court in “A Conversation with Antonin Scalia” with NPR correspondent Nina Totenberg.
