Film Screening of “Who Cares About Kelsey?”

The George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development and the HSC Foundation will host a film screening for “Who Cares About Kelsey?” The film, by Dan Habib, shows innovative educations approaches that help students with emotional and behavioral disabilities to succeed while improving the school climate. The film focuses on Kelsey Carroll, who lived with homelessness, self-mutilation, abuse and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. She was a likely high school dropout — until she encountered an education revolution that’s about empowering, not overpowering, teens with emotional and behavioral disabilities. Click here to RSVP.
