Faculty Recital Series: The Art of Collaboration
George Washington's Department of Music Presents The Art of Collaboration featuring pianist and adjunct professor of music Frank Conlon and members of the Department of Music voice faculty in a program of 18th, 19th and 20th century music. The program includes Benjamin Britten’s Canticle III for tenor, horn and piano; Johannes Brahms’ Two songs, Op. 91, for mezzo, viola and piano; and Giovanni Bottesini’s Two songs, for soprano, double bass and piano. Free and open to the public.
Mr. Conlon is a leading chamber music and vocal accompanist in the Washington D.C. region. He has appeared at numerous colleges and concert halls locally and has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, India and Japan. He is a past National Society of Arts and Letters recipient, and a former winner of the Jordan Awards contest.
