The top-selling music duo of all time is coming to campus this fall.
Recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Daryl Hall and John Oates will headline GW Alumni Weekend 2014 with a live concert Sept. 19 at the Charles E. Smith Center.
"We are thrilled to bring Daryl Hall and John Oates to Alumni Weekend 2014," said Stephanie Medwid, associate director of classes and reunions in the Office of Alumni Relations. "There's been a great buzz across the GW community since we made the announcement, and it's clear their music appeals to a broad range of students, staff, faculty and alumni. We think the duo is a perfect fit for GW and Alumni Weekend, and they're sure to deliver a fantastic night of fun for all."
The duo, which produced six No. 1 singles from 1977 to 1984, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.
Alumni Weekend runs from Sept. 18 to 21. Registration begins in mid-July.
